I am a wife and a stay-at-home mommy of two young children. My educational background includes a B.S. and M.Ed. in Elementary Education. I enjoy writing and hope this blog will be a blessing to you as I share some of the things God is teaching me.
i just read your article on the princess books, and the reviews of some. thank you! On Ash Wednesday I used the example of Cinderella as a cinder/ashes covered person whose goodness allowed her to eventually be seen by everyone as the princess she was. Those who could not imagine themselves to be “ashes” or to covert themselves with them remained just what they had always been: wicked and/or ugly. We may be ashes, but we are redeemed by the Cross, so we are pretty important ashes. That was the jist of what I talked about at the services with a lot of children. I’ll check into a few of these books, and see whether our school library has them. Thanks for your blog.

I’ve tagged you at my blog, but you don’t have to do it.
